A tiny mouse crept through the straw,
Not just to peep but to adore.
And the robin hopped close, drawn by the light -
The Light of the World in the darkness of night.
The solemn old ox looked down in awe
At the Son of God on a stable floor,
And the gentle lamb in its soft white fleece
Was there to welcome the Prince of Peace ;
A child so small, with so much to give -
His life for us all, that we might live.
C - is for crib where the new Baby
lay
H - for his bed was a bundle of hay
R - is for riches, but Jesus was poor
I - is for inn, just another closed
door
S - is for shepherdswho came from
afar
T - is for the three who followed
the star
M - is for Mother, the maiden so fair
A - is for angels whose song filled
the air
S - is for Saviour, that Babe in the
stall
Is the meaning of Christmas - Christ come to save all
