Who can forgive the blindness
of those who will not see
The cruelty that ends new life
And will not let it be.
If the Child had not been wanted
On that first Christmas Day
What tragedy for all of us
Who have to pass this way.
The Massacre of the Innocents
Was judged a monstrous crime ;
Could the killers of the unborn babes
Be monsters of our time ?
For Christ came down that we might LIVE
The unborn baby, too ;
He died to save that little child
As He died for me and you.
